Denver Biscuit Co.

The first place we tried in Denver, Colorado was Denver Biscuit Co. I am usually not a huge biscuit and gravy person (I know I know…weird), but this place was really good. The gravy was not too salty and was just the right consistency. We also ordered the biscuit pot pie which was really yummy too. The coffee was self serve (there were a bunch of unique mugs to chose from).

Checked out Little Owl Coffee for our coffee fix.

Clean and cute little coffee shop located in Denver. The baristas were super friendly and professional. I can’t speak for the food, but the coffee hit the spot. If you get a chance this is a good place to get your coffee fix.

There is indoor parking available right near the shop. It’s a small place so there is limited seating, but there is a lobby next door people take their coffee and treats to enjoy.

Head on over to Larimer Square

Great area with a bunch of food, bar, and shopping locations. We didn’t stop at any places here….mainly spent some time strolling and checking out places.

Denver Botanic Gardens

I highly suggest visiting the Botanic Gardens here in Denver. I’d say it is one of the top botanic gardens I’ve visited. Very well maintained and lots to explore. Nice place to spend a few peaceful hours strolling (with friends, family, or significant others), relaxing and enjoying the sights. Not only are there plants, but there is an in door area with local art.

Visit the Denver Art Museum~

If you love art this is the place to visit (or if you just like seeing cool things). Lots of activities for children (or adults - I definitely participated in a few of the activites)

The food here was amazing. What’s not to like here… fast, friendly service, good food, nice & clean atmosphere.

We gave in to the gimmicky stuff and got donuts here. They were ok, nothing special.

Corvus Coffee Roasters

As you can see I am a coffee lover. I’d come back for coffee from Corvus. I ordered a cortado.

They have cold brew and canned coffee to take on the go. The shop had a cool set up and was very spacious. Good place to go to study or get work done.
